Some accounts use a real person's photographs without permission. Some use a face that was never attached to the life being described. I do not have a count of how often that happens on this site, so there is no percentage here. What you can do is ordinary: look at whether the photos match across years, whether a video call is refused forever, and whether the story needs you to send money, vouchers, or a code.
A reverse image search is one tool. A genuine person can have photos that also appear elsewhere. A genuine person can have photos that also appear elsewhere, and a fake can use pictures that have never been indexed. If they will not meet on camera before you travel, you are allowed to stop. Disappointment is cheaper than a ticket.
Report the profile there, and block it. You can do the same from a message. That tells moderation. It does not replace a police report if money has already moved. The romance-fraud page is the pattern. The reporting page is the UK route.
