If you are in the UK and you have sent money, or you were asked to, report it to Report Fraud, the national reporting service run for this purpose. The public site is reportfraud.police.uk. Contact your bank as well, quickly, and keep the messages. Use the number the official site shows when you are there. Use the number the official site shows when you are there.

If you are in immediate danger, call 999. Members can report and block from the profile and from the messages, so moderation can see the account. That step is not the crime report.

Readers outside the UK need their own police and bank routes. The statistics page explains what UK reports become in the annual figures, including the warning that one police category mixes in a different offence.
