When I am wearing my favourite sultry perfume, nothing can get in my way, I feel bold and sexy. You can decant your top choices into sample-sized bottles or just treat yourself at the airport to something new and fabulous. When you get home from your trip a whiff of that scent will send you right back to your romantic getaway and remind you of the time you spent together.

Trust me, you don’t want to be waiting until the last minute to book tables at the must-visit restaurants where you are staying. When I spent a week in Montenegro one of the first things I did was book a table at Ćatovića Mlini, a renowned restaurant in the region. A good meal makes for a good evening.

To give your romantic break a little je ne sais quoi, organise something a little special and surprise your companion. From something small and sentimental to an activity you can share like a ride along the beach on horseback or something extra sexy to enjoy in your hotel room surprises can make for pleasant holiday memories.
