Taking in views of the Black Isle coastline, the boat trip will give you and your date a great chance to see wildlife such as seals, dolphins and osprey as well as many other species. There is so much beauty to be discovered and this is just one of the ways to first hand what Inverness has to offer. A unique, thrilling and romantic date that you won’t want to end.

4. Craig Phadrig

Craig Phadrig_InvernessThis is the hill overlooking the city. It’s a great place to get amazing views of the surrounding countryside. At the very top there are the ruins of a Pictish Fort, which are fun to explore and the open nature of the forest means that there are views down the hill from most angles. You are your date could take in the views or you could go for a walk or bike ride around the forest.

You and your date should pop to one of the many stables just outside of the city and go on a nice long horse ride. If you don’t know how to ride then there’s always the option of the two of you going for lessons first. Viewing the beautiful scenery of Inverness by horseback? You can’t get any more romantic!
