Does Google know everything?! I mean, obviously, but it never ceases to amaze me. Check out the breakdown of Google+ users in the U.K. when it comes to their relationship status. Most google users are SINGLE (35.12%) That’s a lot of eligible bachelors and bachelorettes…what are you guys waiting for? 🙂 I have a feeling a lot of my single friends in California might want to jump across the pond! Also made me laugh that there are more in “complicated” relationships than I would expect-but then again, most relationships are a tad complicated, no?

This doesn’t really surprise me at all, especially coming from the UK. It seems to me that the culture in the UK (and a lot of Europe) is much more open to being happily single for much longer than in the US. Of course there are always going to be those searching for love desperately and serial daters, but the emphasis on the importance of being in a relationship in the US can get ridiculous. Google’s vast amounts of information on us as consumers, although slightly scary, is partially due to the fact that we willingly give out this information! If you don’t want them (or anyone) to know then don’t publish it!
