Today, I’m going to talk to you guys about three things every guy is
thinking about on a first online date. I went to the source directly and asked some guys, who I know are online dating, what goes through their minds, and what are the things that they focus the most on before a first online date, before or during an online date.
The first thing was, obviously, male or female, we all want to know what the other person looks like. Physical attraction is important. There’s nothing wrong with it. It doesn’t mean he’s a jerk because he wants to make sure he likes what his date looks like.
So the biggest thing for them, along those lines, was does the girl look like her photos? I think that’s fair. I mean, put up photos that look like you and you won’t have any problems. This is only for the people who put up photos that really don’t look like them, or it was on their best day, and they just don’t look like that on a random Saturday night.
Number two would be conversation. Guys get nervous too, and they don’t like awkward silences. They want somebody who can carry a conversation, or they’re always trying to think of things. One guy said, “Always trying tovthink of things to talk about with her.” So he might like be three steps ahead in the conversation because he wants to keep it going.
And thirdly, this is cute. They are wondering, (a) if you even want them to kiss you, and (b) how are they going to do it. So that’s cute, I thought, that a lot of guys think that far in advance, and they want to get a little smooch at the end of the night.
Those are three things that guys think about on a first online date. Not too shocking, but kind of cute and good reminders. I hope you’re having a good weekend, and I’ll talk to you soon.
