Perhaps it’s a first date and you’re looking to make a great first impression, or maybe you’ve been in a relationship a while and you want to plan a really special date night. You can also have ‘The Suite Retreat’ which is a 150 minute treatment package that involves a therapeutic sea salt glow followed by a massage and then a Uspa facial – bliss!
4) High Tea at Sir Stamford at Circular Quay (93 Macquarie St, Sydney NSW 2000)
Nothing shouts out class like having a traditional high tea. Have an indulgent afternoon in a fancy setting by heading to Sir Stamford at Circular Quay. The premium package is called ‘Elegance High Tea’ where for $69 you’ll get scones, the signature ‘Stamford curry puff’, savoury canapes, sandwiches and a selection of desserts, all washed down with a choice of tea or coffee as well as the icing on the cake – a flute of Moet & Chandon champagne.
5) Wine and Dine at Rockpool Bar & Grill (66 Hunter St, Sydney NSW 2000)
If you want to have dinner in a venue that has some of the rarest wines in the world – this is the place to come. One particular bottle (the 1945 Domaine de la Romanée-Conti) is priced at a whopping $72,000! If you don’t quite fancy spending your life savings on a bottle of French Burgundy, there are a lot more modestly priced wines too and a great cocktail menu. As well as having Australia’s greatest wine list, the food is pretty divine too. Dishes include wagyu beef, silk handkerchief pasta with hand pounded broad bean pesto and spicy mussel and saffron stew with charcoal roast seafood and aoili.
6) Luxury Hot Air Balloon Ride with Balloon Aloft (Various Locations)
Surprise your date with a date in the sky! Balloon Aloft offers a rides over scenic areas such as Camden Valley in Sydney’s Macarthur region. For a breakfast like no other, rise above Camden Valley for an hour and then finish with a champagne feast at the nearby Barenz café.
7) Seafood at Tetsuya’s Restaurant (529 Kent Street, Sydney, NSW 2000)
This is a restaurant with a hard reputation to beat. If you’re a seafood fan – get ready for a heavenly experience. If you really want to splash the cash – opt for the $220 per head ten course degustation menu. Dishes include marinated yellow-fin tuna, grilled scampi tail with chicken parfait and walnut vinaigrette and the signature dish of petuna ocean trout with shaved fennel, unpasteurised ocean trout caviar and knobu. The presentation is outstanding, the taste is even better and you can eat your dinner while looking at the serene zen garden with bonsai trees and a waterfall.
8) Blue Mountains Deluxe Day Tour with AEA Luxury Tours Australia (Various Locations)
If you’re an adventurer at heart, with a love for exploring the natural landscape, this is for you. The Blue Mountains Deluxe Day tour will take you on a colourful tour where you’ll see rainforests, waterfalls, a wildlife park and jaw-dropping rock formations.
